FPL Participating Independent Contractors can help you save money!
You may have been told that the benefits of a new, high-efficiency air conditioning system are well worth the higher purchase price when long-term savings are considered. Florida Power & Light Company is offering substantial savings on the up-front costs of A/C purchase and installation in the form of rebates when the work is performed by one of their own Participating Contractors. Check out FPL’s A/C Buying Rebate page for more details about the program and to see just how substantial your savings can be! FPL Participating Independent Contractors partner with Florida Power & Light to ensure your high-efficiency system will give you many years of effective cost savings. Participating Contractors and their installation practices, as well as the equipment itself, must meet specific criteria to qualify you for a rebate, making certain that you have chosen a quality A/C unit as well as a top-notch installer.
FPL Participating Contractor Eligibility
What requirements must an air conditioning company meet to become an FPL Participating Independent Contractor?
An FPL Participating Independent Contractor must be a licensed air conditioning specialist in the State of Florida, complying with all government ordinances, codes, statutes, and accepted engineering practices. They are also required to process rebate certificates within 60 days and correct installation errors within 30 days of notification. These contractors are held to FPL’s high standard of service and integrity, ensuring your new HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system will give you the best results possible for many years to come.
Air Conditioning Equipment Eligibility
Whether you are purchasing an entire new A/C unit or making air conditioning duct system repairs, there is a wide range of rebates available for qualified HVAC equipment and Internal Air Quality (IAQ) service. An FPL Participating Contractor can offer guidance to get you the best savings for your home or business, and must comply with all local, state, and national codes for the installation and operation of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment. Florida Power & Light has set strict criteria that their Participating Contractors and the installed A/C equipment must adhere to, covering design specifics of the A/C unit or entire HVAC system. Everything is taken into account, from the amount of air conditioning coverage that will be provided to where the filter is located (and the importance of showing the buyer where it is). Even specific A/C equipment combinations must be looked up to see if the combination qualifies for a rebate.
So How Do I Get Started Saving Money on My New Air Conditioning System?
